One of my friends uses a term called “enthu pattaaNi” which appears to be a chennai slang word to describe a vivacious character filled with a childlike enthusiasm towards anything he or she ventures into in life.

Have known you at other levels also apart from your singing. What amazes me is your “enthu pattaaNi” nature in not only singing (where you are exploring other languages and genres), but how you transfer that enthusiasm to marathon running, cooking, handling ayush and bearing with Manu’s kadi jokes and antics.

Of course all these require tremendous amount of internal energy (sounds like thermodynamics now), which you somehow seem to generate seemlessly with a smile plastered on your face. Good interview and good to know you and your family.

Recently heard about Music blogging. I never thought such a thing exists. Also thanks to muziboo (credit goes to Joseph @jocalling.com, was going through his blog which had a muziboo widget) that I came across the singing of many talented artists. And Meera, the songs you have added in Muziboo are pretty good. Keep up the good work

Meera, I completely agree with your views on being sensitive regarding criticism. Very nicely put! You are also right about live shows! They are not only spontaneous, but can be very rewarding! You live the moment and leave with memories
